Ms.
Doro is currently CEO of Global-Educations. During the past twenty
years, she worked for Bell South, AT&T and Lucent Technologies. She
was Managing VP for NetCare Professional Services in Asia Pacific
for Large Scale System Integration for Lucent Technologies and was
head of a joint venture between Lucent Technologies and the PRC
government. She held positions in Enhanced services, Global
Marketing, Global Partnerships, Strategic Planning, Forecasting,
Engineering, Bell Lab Funding, Executive Assistant, Product
Management, Market Management, Sales, and General Administrations.
She has worked in Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York,
Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, China, and Hong Kong on various
assignments.
In her current role, she is
responsible for branding and recruiting channel management
internationally for some major US universities as well as recruiting
executives from overseas to participate in the US executive and
language programs. Prior to the CEO position, she was Managing VP
for NetCare Professional Services for Asia Pacific and was Acting
VP, Global Marketing position for Service Provider Network sector.
In May 1996, she was General Manager of AT&T-China JV, which
specialized in SDH, Digital Data Network (DDN) and Access Network
(AN) product. In August 1997, her responsibilities expanded to
include sales and technical support for the direct sales channel as
well. In June, 1998 she was head of Global Partnership & Project
Management of Access Systems. She has created partnerships with AFC,
Premysis, Orckit, and established PairGain, Copper Mountains, ECI,
Jet Stream, Copper Com, SymCom, Marconi Partnerships to fill product
gaps and sales channel/distributors. She received awards for
partnership creation and led the
effort
for China MII access Product Certification as well as receiving
president award for sales.
Mrs. Doro graduated from Columbia
University with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering &
Operations Research. She holds a Master's degree from Yale in
Business Administration. Mrs. Doro is an advisor for the University
of Wisconsin Extended Leadership Program and is also a lecturer for
New York University, INSEAD, Indiana University, London School of
Economics, and the Thunderbird University Executive Education TRW
Program.
